Your K-Cup Has Been Sitting in a Warehouse for Months

That grocery store pod? It was roasted long before it hit the shelf. Coffee starts losing flavor within weeks of roasting — which is why your morning cup tastes flat, no matter how nice your machine is.

Angelino's does it differently. A third-generation roaster in Los Angeles, they roast, grind, and seal every pod in-house for peak freshness, then ship it to your door within days of roasting. The difference is the first thing you'll notice: real aroma, real flavor, no bitterness.

Mix and match from 50+ specialty coffees, teas, and flavored blends — all Keurig®-compatible — and save more with every box you add, up to 34% off at 12+. Order once whenever you're running low, or subscribe for an extra 5% if that's easier. Entirely up to you.

New customers get 15% off their first order — applied automatically, no code needed.

Grand Jury Indicts Suspect in
Disappearance of Baytown Woman

A Harris County grand jury has indicted Quan Flowers on a charge of aggravated kidnapping in connection with the 2024 disappearance of Kalie Goodwin, a Baytown woman who has been missing since April 2024.

According to court records, the indictment alleges Flowers abducted Goodwin and used or threatened deadly force during the incident. Goodwin remains missing, and the investigation is ongoing. Flowers is already in custody on unrelated charges.

🏡 What This Means for Baytown

The indictment marks a significant step in the criminal case, but the investigation into Goodwin's disappearance continues. Authorities have not announced that she has been found, and anyone charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

👀 What's Next?

The aggravated kidnapping case will move through the court process while investigators continue working to determine what happened to Goodwin.

La Porte's Fill the Bus Returns for 5th Year

The La Porte Police Department and La Porte Office of Emergency Management are celebrating the 5th Annual Fill the Bus school supply drive on Friday, July 24th, helping local students start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

Community members are invited to donate school supplies and backpacks, volunteer their time, or become a community partner. Organizers hope to make this year's event the biggest yet as they continue supporting La Porte students and families before the new school year begins.

Free Child Car Seat Safety Checks
Coming to Baytown

The Baytown Police Department, in partnership with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, is hosting a FREE Child Safety Event on Friday, August 7th, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Baytown Public Safety Building.

Certified child passenger safety technicians will inspect car seats, make sure they're installed correctly, and answer parents' questions. Since many car seats are installed incorrectly, this free event is a great opportunity to help keep children safer on the road.
RSVP is required by calling 281-420-5376.
