ExxonMobil Says Its Legal Home
Will Shift to Texas on July 1st.
ExxonMobil says its previously approved move from New Jersey to Texas is expected to become official on July 1st, marking the date the company’s legal domicile will shift to Texas.
The company has had major operations and leadership based in the Houston area for decades — including its large Baytown complex — but says the change will formally align its legal home with where its business has long operated.

Lee College Summer Bash Aims
to Build Awareness Through Fun,
Interactive Activities
Lee College’s Summer Bash is set for tomorrow, Thursday, June 25th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Parking Lot 10 next to the Student Center, with activities focused on substance use prevention, resilience and positive mental health.
One featured attraction will be Baytown PD’s SIDNE impairment simulation go-karts, which give participants a hands-on look at how alcohol, drugs or even texting can affect driving ability.
The event will also include free snow cones while supplies last, the UTMB impaired driver simulator and information from community partners.

Free Family Fun Planned for
Summer Bulldog Fest in La Porte
La Porte ISD will host Summer Bulldog Fest this Friday, June 26th, with gates opening at 7:30 p.m. at Bulldog Stadium.
The free community event will include obstacle courses, bounce houses, food and drinks, teen activities on the field, and a movie on the big screen.
