7 Brew Coffee Expanding -
Two New Locations Planned!
Coffee lovers in Crosby and Dayton have something new to look forward to! 7 Brew Coffee, the rapidly growing drive-thru beverage chain, is planning new locations in both communities.
Known for its friendly service, quick drive-thru experience, and highly customizable drinks, 7 Brew offers much more than your traditional cup of coffee. Its extensive menu includes hot and iced coffees, flavored energy drinks, teas, lemonades, smoothies, shakes, and specialty beverages.
📍 Crosby Location
A new 7 Brew is planned for 14035 FM 2100 Road in Crosby, with construction expected to be completed by the end of February 2027. An official grand opening date has not yet been announced.
📍 Dayton Location
Another 7 Brew is planned in Dayton. The location is moving through the development and permitting process, but an opening date has not yet been confirmed.
With new locations popping up across Texas and numerous other states, 7 Brew continues to expand its popular drive-thru coffee concept into more communities.
Looks like Crosby and Dayton residents will soon have another place to grab their morning coffee or afternoon pick-me-up! ☕

Historic Brunson Theater!
Remember the old Brunson Theater on Texas Avenue? It's getting another exciting chapter in its long history!
The City of Baytown has been transforming part of the historic building into a first-of-its-kind multimedia studio, bringing a modern new purpose to a place that once entertained generations of Baytown residents.
Now, the City is giving us a sneak peek inside! In a short new video, two Baytown City Council members get a look at the newly renovated space and some of the exciting changes taking place.

at Lee College PAC Tonight!
Fans of the legendary rock band Chicago are in for a musical treat tonight, Friday, November 6th, when Beginnings – A Celebration of the Music of Chicago takes the stage at the Lee College Performing Arts Center in Baytown!
Known for recreating Chicago's signature sound, complete with powerful horn arrangements and unforgettable melodies, Beginnings brings audiences a concert experience filled with the music that made Chicago one of America's most successful rock bands.
Get ready to hear favorites like "Saturday in the Park," "25 or 6 to 4," "You're the Inspiration," "Hard to Say I'm Sorry," and many more!
Whether you grew up listening to Chicago or simply love great live music, this family-friendly performance promises an entertaining evening close to home.

No Driverless 18-Wheelers, Please!
Well, that was unanimous!
In Thursday's newsletter, we reported on Kodiak AI's plans to introduce driverless 18-wheelers along the Houston-to-Dallas corridor, with a connection to IKEA's Baytown distribution center.
We asked readers whether they'd feel comfortable sharing the highway with an 18-wheeler that had nobody behind the wheel.
The results? 100% of those who participated in our poll voted “No — I want someone behind that wheel!”
Not a single vote for “Yes” or “Maybe!”
While our informal poll isn't a scientific survey, it certainly suggests that the readers who responded aren't quite ready to share the road with driverless big rigs!
