☀️ Good Morning and Happy Friday, October 16th! ❤️
Every day is a good day to celebrate our local businesses! They're more than just places to shop, eat, or find services. They're our neighbors, friends, and families working hard to make a living while helping our communities grow and thrive.
Small businesses are truly the heart of our hometowns. They create jobs, support local schools and organizations, and give our communities their own special character.
That's why we're especially excited to share today's Business Love feature, celebrating a local business and the people behind it! We hope you'll enjoy getting to know them a little better.
Here's to supporting local, spreading a little Business Love, and having a wonderful Friday! 💙❤️

Silver Miners Have Outrun Silver Since 2020
Since March 2020, silver has returned about 402%. The silver miners returned 445%.
That gap is the leverage our research team focuses on. When silver rises, a producer's net asset value can rise much faster, and share prices tend to follow. It works in both directions, and a mine is only as good as the company running it.
The Ultimate Silver Playbook shows how the team separates the miners worth owning from the rest, and which silver stocks are on its watchlist now. It's free.

The Queen Heifer Paint Parties
Brings Creativity Home to Crosby
For anyone who has ever said "I can't paint," Leanne Camp has a message: yes, you can. As the creative force behind The Queen Heifer Paint Parties, Camp travels throughout Crosby and surrounding areas bringing the joy of painting to homes, businesses, schools, and anywhere people gather.
The concept is simple yet transformative. Camp arrives with everything needed for a complete painting experience: canvases, acrylic paints, brushes, and most importantly, her patient, step-by-step guidance. "I basically show people how to paint a painting," Camp explains. "I take them step by step on a canvas with acrylic paints, and we start from the very beginning, and we take our time. And by the end of the party, everyone takes home their very own masterpiece."
A Welcoming Approach for Everyone
What sets The Queen Heifer apart is Camp's commitment to making art accessible. She eliminates the intimidation factor by providing pre-drawn canvases, so participants never face that scary blank canvas. With fun music playing in the background, she demonstrates each step at the front of the room before walking around to offer individual guidance and encouragement.
"About halfway through the party, people will start to get the hang of it and they'll start working ahead and adding their own touches and their own creativity comes alive," Camp says. The result is that while everyone paints the same design, each finished piece is uniquely their own.
Perfect for Any Occasion
Camp's paint parties typically last 90 minutes to two hours and work beautifully for holidays, ladies' nights, book clubs, children's birthday parties, homeschool groups, and corporate events. Based in Crosby, she brings the creativity directly to you.

Mont Belvieu City Manager Discusses
Growth, Industry and the City's Future
How does Mont Belvieu continue growing while maintaining the small-town atmosphere residents love?
That's one of the topics City Manager Brian Winningham discusses in a new episode of the TALKE ’BOUT Podcast, hosted by Alexander Boehm.
The conversation explores how Mont Belvieu balances its close relationship with the energy industry while prioritizing neighborhood safety, quality of life and responsible development.
Winningham also discusses the city's plans for residential growth, transportation improvements and business development, including the expanding Riceland master-planned community.
Another focus is communication between the city, residents and industrial partners, particularly when it comes to safety and emergency preparedness.
A retired U.S. Army officer with 28 years of military service, Winningham has served as Mont Belvieu's city manager since 2022.
This interview offers residents a closer look at the challenges and opportunities facing one of the area's growing communities.
