Up for Local Breast Cancer Patients

The Mont Belvieu Fire Department and Parks & Recreation are teaming up for the Breast Cancer Walk-A-Thon on Sat., Oct. 3rd, beginning at 8 a.m. at Mont Belvieu City Park, 10900 Eagle Drive.

Participants will walk quarter-mile laps around the City Park Amphitheater, with 100% of proceeds benefiting a local fund that assists area patients with financial needs while undergoing cancer treatment.

10 Years of Opportunity:
Lee College Liberty Center Marks Milestone

Lee College is celebrating a decade of bringing higher education and workforce training closer to residents of Liberty and surrounding communities.

The Lee College Education Center – South Liberty County, which opened in January 2016, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a community open house Thursday, September 10, from 5:30–7 p.m. at 1715 Hwy. 146 Bypass in Liberty.

Over the past decade, the center has expanded opportunities for students of all ages, offering college and dual-credit courses, workforce and technical training, community education and other programs. Students from five neighboring school districts — including Anahuac, Dayton and Liberty — can also earn college credit while still in high school.

The anniversary open house gives the community a chance to help Lee College celebrate 10 years of education, training and opportunities close to home.

Never Been Camping?
Texas Parks Will Show Your Family How

Families who would like to try camping but aren't quite sure where to start have an opportunity coming up at Lake Livingston State Park October 24–25th.

The Texas Outdoor Family Campout is designed especially for families with little or no camping experience. For $25 per family of up to six people, participants receive the equipment needed for the overnight adventure, including a six-person tent, cots, sleeping pads and cooking equipment. Park admission is also included.

The weekend includes fishing, hiking, sunset watercolors and other park activities, with guidance to help first-time campers learn the basics and enjoy the outdoors.

Space is limited to the first 16 families, with registration open through October 1st.

So if you've always thought camping sounded fun—right up until you realized you didn't own a tent—this might be your chance. 🌲

Water Alone Won't Hydrate You This Fall

Cooler air, indoor heating, and shorter days can leave you dehydrated even when you're drinking plenty of water. That's because true hydration depends on electrolytes, not just water.

Pique's Deep Hydration Protocol pairs two formulas for round-the-clock hydration. B·T Fountain is a beauty electrolyte with clinically studied ceramides and hyaluronic acid, taken each morning for cellular hydration and steady energy. R·E Fountain follows at night — a calming magnesium blend built on Pique's proprietary Triple Biomaxed™ Magnesium for restful sleep.

Customers on this protocol report falling asleep faster, waking up without that groggy, dehydrated feeling, and noticing healthier-looking skin. This protocol sells out every fall — once it's gone, it's gone until next year.

Get 20% off for life right now, backed by Pique's 90-day guarantee. Shop the Deep Hydration Protocol before it sells out.
