Good morning, Neighbors ☀️

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today is National Banana Split Day, which seems like a perfectly reasonable excuse to turn three scoops of ice cream, a banana, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a cherry into a “fruit-based breakfast.” 😂

We’re not saying you should start your Tuesday with a banana split... but there is a banana in there, so we’re also not saying you shouldn’t. 🍌🍨🍒

Have a sweet Tuesday, Friends

Unlocking $2.1 Trillion in Energy Potential

One company has developed a technology that extracts valuable resources from coal without burning it. From jet fuel to diesel and more, Frontieras North America has the potential to address $2.1  trillion in annual markets*.

It’s similar to when John D. Rockefeller commercialized oil refining technology. If Frontieras captures just 2% of the global coal market, they would position themselves as the global leader in the space.

They just broke ground for their $850 million flagship facility and reserved the ‘FASF’ NASDAQ ticker. Don’t miss your chance to join the next phase of growth: invest in Frontieras before the opportunity ends on August 27.

Frontieras is offering securities through the use of an Offering Statement that has been qualified by the Securities and Exchange Commission under Tier II of Regulation A. A copy of the Final Offering Circular that forms a part of the Offering Statement may be obtained from: invest.frontieras.com.  Reservation of the ticker symbol is not a guarantee that we will be listed on the NASDAQ. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals.   Sources* The global market for our products is worth a combined value of over $2.1 trillion.

Repeat DWI Offender Gets Probation
After Highlands Crash Injures Family

A man convicted of DWI for the third time has been sentenced to 10 years of probation following a crash that seriously injured members of a Highlands family.

Cruz Guerra Nolasco was sentenced Aug. 4 following the November crash at Main Street and Wallisville Road in Highlands. Investigators said Nolasco ran a red light and struck a vehicle carrying Courtney Barron, her boyfriend and her two daughters.

Barron suffered hip fractures, her boyfriend suffered spinal fractures, and her 12-year-old daughter suffered internal bleeding.

Court records show Nolasco had previous DWI convictions in 2016 and 2019. Prosecutors requested a six-year prison sentence in the latest case, but the judge instead ordered 10 years of probation and 10 days in the Harris County Jail. He must also enter a residential treatment facility, complete a DWI intervention program, abstain from alcohol and have his driver's license suspended for two years.

Members of the Barron family have publicly expressed disappointment with the sentence, particularly given Nolasco's previous DWI convictions. Court records also show he had violated bond conditions in his two previous DWI cases by drinking while out on bond.

Motorcyclist Killed in Garth Road
Crash in Baytown

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday morning on Garth Road in Baytown.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The crash temporarily affected traffic along Garth Road while police investigated. The circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation.

Baytown Police Chase Ends
With Driver Crashing Into Ditch

A driver was arrested Friday morning after leading Baytown police on a chase that ended when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a ditch.

The incident began around 7:45 a.m. when officers attempted to stop the vehicle near Decker Drive and Craigmont Street. Police said the driver refused to stop and headed west on I-10 toward Channelview before eventually turning back toward Baytown.

The pursuit ended after the driver exited at John Martin Road, lost control and went into a ditch. Police said the driver was not injured and was taken into custody.

According to the Baytown Police Department, the driver is expected to face a felony charge of evading.
