Pizza lovers will soon have another dining option just a short drive from Baytown.

Rotolo's Craft & Crust, a Louisiana-based restaurant known for its handcrafted pizzas and family-friendly atmosphere, is opening a new location in Mont Belvieu with a grand opening planned for Monday, August 3rd.

The restaurant will feature four signature pizza styles, including Chicago Deep Dish, Chicago Cracker Thin, Detroit-style, and New York-style pizza, along with salads, pasta, sandwiches, and other favorites. Guests can also enjoy a full-service bar, outdoor patio seating, and a selection of 30 craft beers featuring both local and national brews.

The new restaurant will be located at 13433 Langston Drive and is part of the company's continued expansion across Texas. Rotolo's currently operates more than 30 locations in nine states and selected Mont Belvieu as one of its newest family-focused communities.

Residents will soon have another nearby dining destination with a variety of pizza styles to choose from. The addition also reflects the continued commercial growth taking place in Mont Belvieu and the surrounding area.

A Baytown woman is expected to face two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after a family disturbance Thursday afternoon led to a standoff with police in the 400 block of Rollingwood Drive, according to the Baytown Police Department. Police say the woman allegedly shot her father in the hand and struck her mother with a handgun before retreating to a camper in the driveway with her 3-year-old son.

Officers established a perimeter and, after the woman refused repeated commands to come out, used chemical agents to bring the situation to a peaceful end. She surrendered without further incident, and both she and the child were evaluated by EMS at the scene. Child Protective Services was notified, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The incident ended without additional injuries after a peaceful surrender. Authorities say the investigation is continuing, and the reported charges have not yet been adjudicated.

Police expect the woman to be formally charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The case will move through the court process as investigators continue gathering evidence.
