Men, You've Been Misinformed

Men's skin is about 25% thicker than women's, but thicker skin doesn't mean better aging. It means delayed collapse. For years, your skin looks resilient. Then collagen declines, and when it does, it drops hard: deeper wrinkles, heavier under-eye bags, more dark spots showing up all at once.

Most men were never taught to get ahead of this. Women were. And by the time the signs show up, you're playing catch-up.

Particle Face Cream was built precisely for this. One 6-in-1 formula engineered for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, and revives dull tone. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Good morning, Neighbors- 🌞

Today is National Jelly Bean Day 😋, which feels like a good reminder that life doesn’t always have to be so serious. Sometimes it’s okay to enjoy the simple things—even if that means debating which flavor is the best or avoiding the ones you know you won’t like.

Here’s hoping your day has a few “good flavor” moments mixed in. Have a great day—and if you happen to grab a handful of jelly beans, just hope you don’t get the mystery ones.

Mont Belvieu Highlighted by
Ripley’s Believe It or Not

Mont Belvieu is getting a bit of national attention after being featured by Ripley’s Believe It or Not for an unusual wildlife encounter. The spotlight highlights a large alligator that was safely captured and relocated with the help of heavy equipment—a rare situation that drew wider interest.

While unexpected, the moment reflects the unique environment of our Gulf Coast region and the importance of trained professionals handling wildlife situations safely and responsibly. It’s another example of how even smaller communities like Mont Belvieu can find themselves in the national conversation for something truly one-of-a-kind.

City of Baytown, Lee College
Advance Proposed Land Swap

The City of Baytown and Lee College are moving forward with a proposed land swap aimed at supporting long-term planning and development along a key corridor, according to city officials.

The agreement, recently approved by the Lee College Board of Regents, would allow the college to transfer properties on Decker Drive and Price Street to the City. In exchange, the City would provide property near Lee College’s main campus on West Texas Avenue.

Officials say the exchange involves similarly sized parcels and is designed to help both organizations consolidate land holdings on their respective sides of the roadway. The move is expected to improve coordination for future infrastructure, connectivity, and development projects in the Market Street–Texas Avenue area.

City and college leaders described the agreement as a practical step that supports long-range planning and strengthens ongoing collaboration between the two entities.

The proposal will now move to Baytown City Council for consideration.

Baytown Begins Work on Key
Water Infrastructure Upgrade

Baytown leaders and project partners recently broke ground on the expansion of the Baytown Area Water Authority (BAWA) East Water Treatment Plant, a project aimed at supporting the city’s continued growth.

According to city officials, the $79 million project will double the plant’s capacity from 6 million to 12 million gallons per day. The facility, which has been in operation since 2021, plays an important role in delivering reliable water to the community.

The expansion is supported by funding from the Texas Water Development Board and is part of long-term planning efforts to strengthen infrastructure and prepare for future demand.

Construction is now underway, with completion expected in 2027.
