Good morning, Neighbors. 👋
Apparently today is National Organize Your Home Office Day 💻🗑️… which seems like a bold suggestion for the beginning of the week. As if Mondays and Tuesdays weren’t already full enough, now we’re supposed to tame that pile of papers 📄, cables , and mystery sticky notes on the desk.
Maybe the real win today is just finding the pen that actually works.🖋️
If you manage to clear off your desk today, you might deserve a little celebration.🎉

Man Found Dead Near Cedar Bayou; Authorities Await Medical Examiner’s Report
Baytown police are investigating after a man was found deceased near Cedar Bayou on Saturday morning. Authorities say early information does not indicate foul play, though the case remains active.
Officers, along with Baytown Fire and EMS crews, responded to the 4800 block of Spring Lane around 10:50 a.m. after a caller reported seeing a body in the water. Responders located the man along the bank near a residence, and the department’s dive team, detectives, and crime scene investigators were called to the scene.
The man’s body was transported to the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office, which will determine the cause of death. Police say the investigation remains ongoing as they await the examiner’s findings.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Baytown Police Department at (281) 422-8371.

La Porte Logistics Park Growing with New 230,000 Sq. Ft. Development
A major industrial expansion is underway just down the road in La Porte.
Prologis, one of the largest industrial property owners in the Houston region, has broken ground on the final phase of development at the Port Crossing Commerce Center along Highway 146. The project will add two new buildings totaling about 230,000 square feet, bringing the entire industrial park to more than 2.7 million square feet across 11 buildings.
The location is strategically positioned just three miles from the Barbours Cut and Bayport container terminals, making it an attractive hub for logistics, shipping, and distribution companies serving the Port of Houston.
Prologis already owns more than 200 industrial buildings across the Houston market, supporting hundreds of businesses that move goods through the region. With the continued growth of port activity and regional trade, developments like this one show how La Porte remains an important part of the area’s expanding logistics and industrial corridor.
