Advanced Plastic Conversion Facility
Abundia Global Impact Group is taking a major step toward building its new plastics-recycling facility in the Cedar Port Industrial Park in Baytown. The company has officially notified Alterra Energy to begin designing the technology system that will power the plant.
Alterra’s process turns discarded plastic into renewable fuels and chemical products. Their system runs continuously, uses no catalysts, and has already shown strong results at their existing commercial facility. It produces a stable, high-quality liquid product that fits Abundia’s goal of converting waste into valuable, cleaner energy.
Abundia CEO Ed Gillespie said this milestone brings the company closer to developing its first commercial plant and advancing its mission to become a major producer of sustainable fuels. Alterra’s CEO added that partnering with Abundia supports their shared effort to create real solutions for plastic pollution.

Construction has officially started on the first commercial building inside Riceland Town Center, marking a major milestone for Mont Belvieu’s growing Riceland master-planned community.
The new building, called Millhouse, is a nearly 17,000-square-foot retail and office development by Houston-based McGrath Real Estate Partners. It will include ground-floor retail space with offices located on the second floor, making it the first commercial structure to rise in the town center area.
Riceland Town Center is designed to become a walkable gathering place with shops, restaurants, offices, public green space, and room for community events—something the city has not had since the 1980s.
The larger Riceland development will eventually include thousands of homes, miles of trails, stocked lakes, parks, and recreation areas, all connected to the town center. Several homebuilders are already active, and residential construction continues to move forward in multiple phases of the project.

🛍Local Garage, Yard & Estate Sales!🏷
Please help us spread the word: share this newsletter with your friends, neighbors, and anyone who loves a good deal. Encourage them to subscribe so they never miss a sale. And if you're planning a sale of your own, be sure to submit your info by Tuesday at 5 PM to be included in this week’s issue!
Friendly Note: Garage and Estate sales are as unpredictable as the Texas weather—sometimes they pop up, sometimes they blow away! 🌦️ Hosts may change times, addresses, or even cancel altogether. We just share the info; the rest is part of the treasure-hunting adventure. 🛍️
📌 No garage or estate sales on the list today. Not surprising — the weather can’t make up its mind, and folks are too busy decking halls to drag tables into the driveway.
