Welcome New BPD
K9 Unit: Trooper
The Baytown Police Department is excited to introduce the newest member of the K9 Unit: Trooper, a Bloodhound assigned to K9 Officer Grant.
Trooper was born on January 6, 2024, and just finished his training in Tennessee before joining the team here in Baytown. He’ll be assisting with non-violent tracks, putting his exceptional nose to work to help locate missing individuals and support our community.
He was quite the busy bee last week during training and we mean that literally. 🐝
Welcome to Baytown, K9 Trooper. We look forward to seeing you and your handler do great things.
Thank you for helping us keep Baytown safe!
