Caught on Camera: Suspects Wanted
in $1K+ Baytown Burglary

Burglary of a Building- Case #2025-31839/2025-31663

On Friday June 27th at approx. 1:39 am officers responded to a Burglary of a Building at the Backyard Beer Garden located at 500 W. Texas Ave., Baytown Texas 77520. Three suspects gained entry by shattering the front window of the business. The suspects stole several bottles of liquor and caused over $1,000.00 of damages. The surveillance camera caught one of the suspects inside the building. The suspects may be involved in a previous Burglary at the same establishment.

Baytown Crime Stoppers will offer a cash reward up to $2,000.00 for the identity and arrest of the suspect(s) involved in this Burglary of a Building cases.

A long-vacant building in town is buzzing with life again, thanks to a new Mexican restaurant that quietly opened its doors about a month ago. It’s always great to see new businesses take a chance on our community — and even better when they serve up a good meal!

We stopped by recently to check it out for breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised. The space has been cleaned up and refreshed, giving new energy to a spot that sat empty for years. As for the food? Let’s just say we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

We tried the breakfast tacos — fresh, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. If you haven’t been by to check it out yet, it’s definitely worth a stop. Support a new local business and enjoy a great meal while you're at it.
