Teaming up with TxDOT to
Prevent Drunk Driving Crashes

TxDOT's "Drive Sober. No Regrets." campaign runs from June 26 through July 13, coinciding with the Fourth of July holiday and the start of summer, to combat impaired driving. The campaign aims to increase public awareness about the dangers of drunk driving, promote safe driving practices and reduce drunk driving crashes and fatalities, which have been a significant issue in Texas, with over 1,000 lives lost in DUI-related crashes in 2024.

TxDOT’s Drive Sober. No Regrets. campaign is a key component of #EndTheStreakTX, a broader social media and word-of-mouth effort that encourages drivers to make safer choices while behind the wheel to help end the streak of daily deaths. Nov. 7, 2000, was the last deathless day on Texas roadways.

FYI - Dollar Tree Prices Set to Rise Starting Friday

Starting Friday, June 27, Dollar Tree will begin raising prices on its $1.25 items in the plastic goods and cleaning products categories, with the prices increasing to $1.50 or $1.75. The price hikes will roll out across other product categories in the coming weeks.

Shoppers have already noticed some shelf tags reflecting the new prices—particularly on plastic goods and cleaning supplies—though those items may still ring up at $1.25 until the change officially takes effect.
